Fans who have listened to the Hamilton cast album 10,000 times and are longing for a new Lin-Manuel Miranda score have just one month to wait.

The soundtrack to Disney’s forthcoming animated film musical is scheduled to be released on CD November 18, 2016, in advance of the film’s November 23 release. It’s available for pre-order on Amazon.com.

Miranda has written songs for Moana, which “tells the story of a teenage girl from 2,000 years ago who sets sail to find a fabled island. She is joined by the demigod Maui,” voiced by Dwayne Johnson. The film also features songs by Mark Mancina and Opetaia Foa’i.

Moana, Disney’s newest princess, has the voice of 14-year-old Mililani, HI, native Auli’i Cravalho. Cravalho was discovered while singing at a charity event in Oahu. [Source]
