On April 29 and 30, Lin-Manuel Miranda visited Puerto Rico to attend a few events: the opening of Teerico-PR, in Plaza Las Américas in San Juan, and the opening of ‘Galería Lin-Manuel Miranda’, next to the La Placita de Güisin in Vega Alta. He also visited the Museo de Arte Contemporáneo in San Juan.

On April 27, the fans in line for ‘Hamilton: The Exhibition’ got a sweet surprise: peeking his head through the window of a pink Stan’s Donuts food truck was the musical’s creator and star, Lin-Manuel Miranda, handing out donuts.

On April 26, Lin-Manuel was in Chicago to attend the press conference and ribbon cutting ceremony of ‘Hamilton: The Exhibition’, that is opening Saturday April, 27 in a temporary building erected on the city’s Northerly Island along Lake Michigan. Producers said the exhibit’s 19 rooms chronicle the life of founding father Alexander Hamilton.

On April 23, Lin-Manuel Miranda made a surprise appearance at the Easter Bonnet Competition to accept the top overall fundraising award on behalf of Hamilton – And Peggy tour. The organization Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS raises funds for AIDS-related causes across the United States. Congratulations!
